General Chikelue Iloenyosi, Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association, has demonstrated his commitment to supporting sports development beyond football by visiting physically challenged basketball players at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
During his visit, Iloenyosi, popularly known as ‘General,’ showed his generosity by doffing cash gifts to the players, encouraging them to continue putting in their best efforts.
The players were visibly happy and motivated by Iloenyosi’s visit and support. They promised to increase their efforts in training, clearly inspired by the chairman’s kindness and encouragement.
This visit is not Iloenyosi’s first act of kindness. Last year, he visited former Nigerian international Sylvanus Okpala after his surgery, showcasing his dedication to supporting athletes in need. Iloenyosi’s actions reflect his passion for promoting sports and empowering athletes across various disciplines.
Iloenyosi’s visit and support for the physically challenged basketball players highlight the importance of kindness and encouragement in sports development.
His actions serve as a motivation to athletes and a reminder of the positive impact that sports leaders can have on their communities.
