Gwagwalada Area Council U15 will tackle their counterpart from Bwari Area Council at the Final of the maiden edition of Bocknor U15 Champion of Champions Football tournament in FCT.

The tournament which was played on round-robin basis in two centres of Gwagwalada and Bwari was organized by the FCT Chapter of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association.

In Gwagwalada zone where we have the likes of Kwali, Gwagwalada and Abaji Area Councils, Gwagwalada amassed the maximum six points in two games to finish on top of the table beating Abaji by a lone goal before dismissing Kwali with same number of goal.

In dramatic encounters at the Bwari Centre, host team Bwari and AMAC played out an unbelievable goalless draw in the first match with several chances begging to for convertion at both ends before Bwari edged Kuje by four goals to nil in the second match.

AMAC repeated the same score line against the Kuje lads in the last match of the day. This meant that both teams were tied on four points with equal number of goals scored.

However, disciplinary considerations came to play as the AMAC team earned more yellow cards than their Bwari counterparts who were been booked once.

The final of the tournament sponsored by Barrister Babatunde Akintade ( Bocknor) who is the North Central Representative on the NLO Board and also a Board member of the FCT Football Association.

The final which would be a mouth-watering one will hold on Saturday 2 November at the Area 3 playing pitch in the Federal Capital Territory.
