Topflight Sports International, an affiliate of Top-flight International Football Academy, China, has appointed former Super Falcons Assistant Coach, Maureen Mmadu as Chief Coach
Mmadu, a former midfielder of the Nigeria Women’s Senior National Team, and who has floated a football academy for male and female players, won the 2023 Anambra State Women FA Cup and represented the state at the President Federation Cup (women), reaching the second round.
Austin Aniebo, Director/International Coordinator of the Top-flight Sports International, told reporters that the former Norway based Nigerian has now become a full member of the outfit by virtue of her appointment.
He further hinted that Mmadu has her task cut out since she can organise sporting events within Anambra State for the outfit.
“First and foremost, Maureen Mmadu has now become a full member of Top-flight Sports International as a result of this appointment”, Aniebo disclosed.
“As a member of this organisation, Maureen Mmadu is expected to function for this organization in full capacity as a member. She would even organize a championship with our brand in Anambra State and Nigeria in general, hence she’s a full member”, Aniebo further explained.
On what informed the appointment, Aniebo said her experience is what motivated the appointment.
“The letter of appointment to Maureen Madu was based on her experience in the field of football and international exposure”, Aniebo said.
“She would add great value to the organisation, hence her choice for the role”.
“Topflight Sports International is an affiliation of Topflight International Sports Academy based in China. Our Nigeria and office is located at 18 Ogui Road Enugu.
“Of course, this relationship is tailored to last far too long. It’s never a short time appointment. She’s naturally a hard working person and calm”, the Top-flight Sports boss further explained.
