TICO/SELECT 2024: It’s Abia Warriors Vs Achievers And Enyimba  Vs Apex Crane In Semis Today

Actions in the 2024 Ifeanyi Ekwueme TICO SELECT Preseason Football Tournament enters semi finals with very interesting encounters.

After hostilities in the group games, the journey which commenced with 10 teams now has just four teams hustling for the coveted trophy.

Two teams each pulled through to the semi final stage from Group A and B as the first in group B, Enyimba FC faces second in Group A, Apex Krane FC by 12noon tomorrow Thursday August 29, 2024 while first in Group A, Abia Warriors FC engages second of group B, Great Ashivers FC by 3pm same day.

Winners of both semi final encounters will meet each other in the final on Friday August 30th, 2024 by 3pm.

The winners will go home with a brand new FIFA look alike trophy as the two finalists shall both receive a complete set of SELECT jersey worth about N800,000.

Abia Warriors topped group A with 10 point winning three matches and drawing one while Apex who won two games and drew one after Rangers Int’l FC withdrew from their last group game citing their CAF Champions League qualifier preparations and NPFL opener with Elkanemi Warriors FC on Saturday as reason.

In group B Enyimba FC won two and lost one to top their group while Great Achievers narrowly piped Mathias FC to the second position with superior goal scored (4) as against (3) of Mathias FC.
