World 100m hurdles Champion Tobi Amusan and world leader in the 60m hurdles, Devynne Charlton of the Bahamas will race each other over the 60m hurdles at the New Balance Grand Prix, a World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold meeting in Boston on Sunday

They met last over the distance in March 2018 when the Bahamian defeated Amusan for the second time in three meetings.

It was at the World Indoor championships in Birmingham where Amusan ran 7.91 to come third in the first semifinal. Charlton ran 7.89 to place second in
the semifinal heat.

Amusan, on Sunday will not only be keen to equal their head-to-head record, she will also target the 7.75 world leading time ran by the Bahamian at the
Sports Performance Center in Lubbock, Texas on January 20, 2024.

The 26 year old Nigerian ran a new 7.77 African record in Astana, Kazakhstan seven days later and will be eager to improve on that as she seeks to become the
first Nigerian to win a World indoor and a world outdoor title.

Outdoors, Amusan towers over Charlton as the Nigerian holds a 20-2 head-to-head record against the 2022 World Indoor Championships silver medalist.
