Former President of the Nigeria Football Federation and ex-FIFA Council Member, Amaju Melvin Pinnick, was among top football administrators who participated in key strategic discussions at the recent Confederation of African Football Strategy Session held in Cape Verde.

Pinnick, who currently serves as Executive Assistant to CAF President, Dr. Patrice Motsepe, joined other high-profile stakeholders from across the continent to deliberate on critical issues bordering on governance, structural development and the long-term vision for African football.
The executive gathering also featured high-level engagements, including a State Banquet hosted in honour of football leaders.
At the event, Pinnick interacted with prominent figures in world football including FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, former Nigerian international, Daniel Amokachi, CAF Director of Communications, Lux September, as well as former football stars Patrick Vieira, Gelson Fernandes and Khalilou Fadiga.
His active involvement underscores the ongoing efforts by the CAF leadership under Dr. Motsepe to strengthen administrative frameworks and build collaborative partnerships aimed at advancing football across Africa.
