The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Idemili Federal Constituency has kicked off its “thank you” tour campaign at St Charles Catholic Church field, Alor, the country home of HE Senator Chris Ngige with a firm assurance to deliver maximum votes to the party come January 2027 poll.
This commitment according to the two respective Ward chairmen -the Alor Ward One, Nonso Okoye; and Ward two- Obi Anoruka, the APC has always delivered comprehensive votes to APC.
The Idemili Federal House of Representatives candidate, Dr Kingsley Ezekwelu noted that he’s very confident about the commitment of Alor community.
He lamented over what he described as a lethargic showing and representative in the last four years. That no community actually know who’s representing the area or if being represented at all.
“So it’s long enough time we take back our destiny into the hands of a face and name we know.
He said that “a representative of one of the most populous Constituency in the country should not be missing in the crowd anywhere or time.
“Idemili Federal Constituency deserve “A” grade always.
“So today we are heading back to the front seat. While at the chosen front seat, we would be in a position, to participate in sharing and distributing the political administrative goodies…”
APC Idemili South LG chairman, Sunday Obidigbo advise all members to keep their permanent voters cards (PVC)handy always henceforth so as to use it to vote at the appropriate time in January 2027.
PVC, he noted was very essential and important in the coming polls. That anyone without it cannot be allowed to cast vote, hence useless in the political participation.
He described Dr Ezekwelu as a graduate of Senator Chris Ngige political school. That it’s reason we all follow him.
The Director General ofthe Campaign Directorate, Chief Opisa Onyeka in his remarks noted that Dr Ezekwelu has been under the tutelage of Senator Ngige.
“He will consequently do well and succeed as Ngige succeeded because he’s from his school of thought
He expressed delight that they promised to mobilize votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu alongside Ezekwelu in the area for their elections respectively.
The community acknowledged that their expected bloc votes will come mostly from the overwhelming registered members of the party across the community.
According to Nonso Okoye and his Ward Two counterpart, Obi Anoruka -“The voting strength of the Alor people in support of Senator Ngige, whom the unanimously described as the town’s political leader cannot be ignored by any politician and their respective political parties.
“The huge turnout at this special event is a pointer to our capabilities avowed commitment to ensure a 100 percent votes for Barrister Kingsley Ezekwelu and APC.
The Alor Ward 2 APC women leader, Lady Rita Ojukwu, prayed for President Tinubu, Kingsley Ezekwelu, and other candidates of the party for economic prosperity and continued peaceful coexistence in Nigeria.
The event also has in attendance the Anambra State APC Vice Chairman (Central), Chief Anthony, Hon Tony Ezekwelu, members of Kingsley Ezekwelu campaign council, among other party supporters in the community.
