FutbolConect is emerging as one of the platforms championing the democratization of football by breaking down barriers between African talent and the global football industry.
Its growing network is designed to give players, clubs and football professionals greater access to visibility, relationships, opportunities and international connections.
The platform will showcase this vision at the Talent & Club Growth Development Summit 2026, taking place on Monday, August 31, at 1:00 PM at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
With the theme “From Grassroots to Stardom,” the summit will examine how stakeholders can build stronger structures for discovering talent, developing clubs and turning football networks into sustainable opportunities.
Club owners, academy representatives, scouts, FIFA-licensed intermediaries, coaches, players, administrators, investors and sponsors are expected at the event.
The summit will be driven by FutbolConect’s four pillars — Connect, Register, Earn and Grow — aimed at helping stakeholders build professional networks while creating legitimate opportunities within the football ecosystem.
Among those expected at the summit are former internationals, FIFA-licensed intermediaries, club owners and representatives of the NFF, NLO and NNL.
The event is expected to become a major platform for discussing the future of grassroots football, talent development and football business in Nigeria.
