Veteran footballers in Anambra State have something to look forward to again as the Anambra State Football Association announces the Chaka Pain Anambra State All Stars Game 2026 with a top prize of N1.5 million up for grabs.
The competition, organised in partnership with PatrickLingo Pharmaceuticals Nig Ltd, makers of the popular Chakapain pain relief range, is exclusively for players aged 40 and above.
The aim of the competition is to keep ex-professionals and football enthusiasts active while fostering camaraderie among the state’s football legends.
Winners will receive N1.5 million, with N800,000 for runners-up and N500,000 for third place. Organisers say additional consolation prizes will also be awarded to participating teams.
Registration opens on May 15th, 2026 and closes June 15th, 2026, with a registration fee of N100,000 per team. Payments are to be made to the Anambra State Football Association account with Zenith Bank Plc, account number 1225326159.
