The Oyo State Football Association has fixed Thursday, April 9, 2026, for the 2026 President Federation Cup draws for men and women categories, with representatives from registered clubs, FIFA-certified stakeholders, and media personnel expected to attend.

Oba James Oluyemi Odeniran led board made this known to newsmen in a release on Saturday that the oldest competition will take place at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan by 9am.

Cup holders, Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, as well as former winners Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso were among the registered teams, while a one-time champions Shaki United FC was surprisingly missing in the party.

The men’s list, which will involve a number of newcomer-teams, has a total number of 8 teams that will vie for the title while the Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL side, Pace Setter will file out against Dragon Fury Ladies Football Club of Ibadan.

The draw ceremony will have critical stakeholders certified by FIFA, thus reflecting the regulatory instinct within the state’s sporting calendar. Representatives of all registered clubs in both the men’s and women’s categories have been duly invited, alongside key figures from the Coaching Association, referees’ council, zonal football council chairmen, and distinguished members of the media.
