The Anambra State Football Association have joined the Nigerian football family in the mourning of Alhaji Yabagi Baba, First Vice Chairman of the Niger State Football Association, who died after a brief illness at Minna’s General Hospital.
In a media statement, the Anambra Football Association Chairman, Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi described Alhaji Yabaji as a revered football administrator.
He said the stalwart of Niger State football was known for his tireless efforts to promote the game of football adding that his exemplary service, marked by dedication, loyalty, and integrity, has left an indelible mark on the game.
“His passing is a significant blow to football development, and we pray Allah grants him eternal peace”, he said
The Anambra FA Chairman, Chief Iloenyosi, and its stakeholders, extend profound sympathies to Niger State football family and the bereaved family, friends, and associates and prayed for the repose of his soul and strength for those mourning his loss.
