The NEROS Stadium in Nanka has been officially announced as the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2026 NEROS/ANSFA Cup.

NEROS Pharmaceuticals Ltd has been the sole sponsor of the annual Anambra State FA Cup since 2007, offering the highest winning prize in the country.

The Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA through the Secretary, Mr Ralph Nweke disclosed this, informing that the opening ceremony of this year’s edition of the NEROS/ANSFA FA Cup will take place on April 9, at the NEROS Stadium, Nanka.

Mr Nweke further hinted that the finals will take place at the same venue on 26th April, 2026.

He informed that Ten (10) teams registered to take part in this year’s edition as the draws took place at Maxilon Hotel, Awka, on Friday, 3rd April, 2026, at 11AM prompt.

Edel FC, a Nigeria National League, NNL aide, are the defending champions after beating Solution FC, (also NNL side), on penalty kicks in last year’s final at the NEROS Stadium, Nanka
