Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA, has confirmed that draws for the 2026 edition of the annual ANSFA/NEROS FA Cup Competition will take place at the luxurious Mailon Hotel, Awka, on Friday, April 3, 2026.
Mr Ralph Nweke, Secretary of the ANSFA, disclosed that ten (10) teams will participate in this year’s championship.
He listed the teams as Edel FC, Peace FC, Ozalla FA, Game Changers FC and Obosi United.
Others are Rangels FA, Black Smithers FC, BONFA, Amanda FC and Emma Okeke FC.
Mr Nweke revealed that this year’s state competition will kick off on April 9 with the final billed for April 26.
The ANSFA Scribe did not disclose where the opening and final matches will take place.
NEROS Pharmaceuticals Ltd has been the sole sponsors of the ANSFA/NEROS FA Cup since 2007 with the competition prize money being N2m, N1m for runners-up and N.5m for third place team
