Recent claims linking Dr. Mohammed Sanusi to favoritism and misconduct in the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are false and misleading.
A closer look shows these accusations are based on misinformation, exaggeration, and deliberate attempts to damage his reputation.
The story about a 2022 NYSC member becoming Deputy Head of Women’s Football is completely untrue. There is no record of such an appointment, and no such individual exists in that role.
From 2021 till now, nothing like that has happened.
Also, retaining some corps members on contract is normal practice across Nigeria. It is based on performance and organizational needs not favoritism.
The claim about a kit manager being removed is also incorrect. The individual stepped down voluntarily; there was no sack or conflict.
It is also important to clearly state that Dr. Mohammed Sanusi is NOT linked in any way to Jedo Construction or its operations.
Dr. Mohammed Sanusi is entirely different from Mallam Mohammed A. Sanusi, who is the Chairman of Jedo Construction.
They are two different individuals, even from their names.
Jedo Construction the company handling the NFF hostel and goal project in Abuja is led by Mallam Mohammed A. Sanusi.
The company is also said to have contributed to the construction of the Kebbi Stadium and is currently responsible for NFF security operations.
These facts clearly show there is no connection between Dr. Mohammed Sanusi and the company.
Basically, these allegations lack credible evidence and rely on rumors rather than facts.
Decisions in the NFF are not made by one individual alone, making it unfair to single him out.
Dr. Mohammed Sanusi remains a calm, disciplined, and effective administrator whose work should be judged based on facts not false accusations.
