Nigeria Pillar Of Sports To Bury Mom, Chinego Ejidike April 9th

The family of Late Agu Ejidike Okafor of Umuohaji Kindred Umuezeagu Ezeagu, Nnewi North, Anambra State and the family of Late Chief Udoji Ubadigha of Umu Okwuogheli Kindred Umuogbo, Obioffia have announced the burial arrangements of their late Ezinne, Rita Chinego Ejidike(Omaka), Nee Udoji

The announcement was made in a statement circulated online by the Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus N.Agu-Ejidike JP, the son of the late Matriarch

According to the release, a Service of Songs will take place on 8th April, 2026, by 7am at her residence, Umuezeagu, Uruagu, Nnewi,Anambra State after which her body will leave ST. Felix Mortuary, Umudim, Nnewi on 9th April with a brief stop over at her father’s residence, Chief Udoji Ubadigha, Nmuogbo, Nnewichi, Nnewi, Anambra State.

At 9am, lying in State at her compound, Umuezeagu Uruagu, while Burial Mass Service will be conducted by Most Rev. Jonas Benson Okoye, Catholic Bishop of Nnewi Diocese at 10am

Condolence visit will take a centre stage on 10th April, 2026, while Thanksgiving Mass Service will round off the burial arrangements at ST. Francis Catholic Church, Umuezeagu, Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State.

May the soul of the departed Matriarch rest in the bosom of the Lord, amen.
