The Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Supporters Club (ANFASSC) has backed the Nathaniel Idowu Ajegunle Under‑14 Football League after a high‑profile courtesy visit to its Surulere headquarters.
The endorsement signals strong support for grassroots development and youth talent in Nigerian football.
A delegation comprising Adedotun Coker, Vice Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association, and McAnthony Anaelechukwu, Director of Sports for the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council and Chairman of the League Management Committee for the Nathaniel Idowu-Ajegunle Under 14 League, paid a working visit to the ANFASSC national secretariat at 96 Ogunala Drive, Surulere, Lagos.
They were received by the club’s National President, Prince Abayomi, who pledged the organisation’s full support for the ambitious grassroots football project.

In a show of solidarity, Prince Abayomi donated sets of Super Eagles replica jerseys and official ANFASSC jerseys to the foundation. He also assured the organisers that the club’s famed vocal supporters would be on ground to provide electrifying fan entertainment during the tournament.
Commending the initiative, Prince Abayomi described the league as a vital intervention in youth development.
“This is what Nigerian football has been waiting for. The Nathaniel Idowu Foundation is not just talking about change, they are building it, one pitch at a time. By creating a structured platform for Under 14 players in Ajegunle, they are giving hope to thousands of young talents and strengthening the grassroots where our football truly lives,” the ANFASSC president said.
He further called on well-meaning Nigerians and corporate bodies to emulate the foundation’s commitment to community driven sports development.
