Former Super Falcons goalkeeper, Judith Chime, is set to host a one-day Goalkeeping Seminar in Enugu on Wednesday, 17 December, aimed at advancing women’s football.

The seminar takes place alongside the ongoing 4th edition of the annual Judith Chime Foundation Championship.

During her illustrious career, Chime represented Nigeria as a goalkeeper and is desirous of producing the next generation of goalkeepers for the country.

According to reports, Chime has been recognised by the Enugu Sports Club by adopting her as a member of the club.

On Monday, 15 December, 2025, Chime was presented with her Membership Certificate and was conducted round the massive premises by the Manager, Patrick.

Although date for the official induction ceremony of the Nigeria female football icon has not been disclosed, Chairman of the Club, Chief Barr Ifeanyi Nweke, expressed joy in having the former goalkeeper in the club.

“You’re welcome into the Enugu Sports Club. We’ve heard of you’ve done for the country and what you’ve continued to do, especially for the young girls.

“We’re happy to have you in our midst”, the Chairman said.

Meanwhile, there will be a Novelty Match between Enugu Sports Club and Judith Chime Foundation XI on Saturday, 20 December, 2025.

The match is aimed at cementing the new relationship between the former Nigeria international and the Sports Club and would bring to a fitting end, the 4th edition of the Judith Chime Championship currently going on in Enugu.
