….Issues 196hour Deadline To Vacate

By Chuks Collins

What could be described as the most astonishing crowd of very enthusiastic supporters, friends, well-wishers and associates of the All Progressives Congress party at the weekend converged on the popular commercial city of Onitsha for the APC National Governorship campaign rally in honor and support of the candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu.

The teeming crowd of above one million supporters, the Leader of APC, Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu told the world at the mega rally held at the All Saints Anglican Cathedral field that the party remain united, resolute and united in their spirited efforts to deliver the candidate.

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has been given a 196 hours ultimatum within which to vacate the Anambra government house.

Tinubu told the Anambra members and supporters that the party will never abandon nor left to walk alone.

President Tinubu who was represented by President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio jocularly asked on the occasion to be addressed by his title of “Omeluora Nnewi” , meaning ‘the people’s benefactor, prayed for the surging crowd of supporters at the arena for God’s abundant blessings.

“Nov 8,2025 is a day of peace and special blessings for Anambra State Governorship.
You will go out there and vote and you will be victorious.

“The message I am bringing you from the center is that you will not walk alone. You will live to remember. You will not be disgraced. You are our brothers and sisters in Christ. Peace be with you”

Akpabio in a no mistaken term stated that Tinubu said that the APC contrary to the claims by some people had no adopted son in Anambra or anywhere.
“An adopted son is not the same as a biological son. We have a son in Anambra who is Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu . We have come to present him to you . We have come to present the next Governor of Anambra state to you “, he said.

“The Igbo have been walking alone since the end of the civil war in 1970.

The Igbo henceforth shall walk to the center of Nigerian government so that the letters of the three Rs proclaimed after the civil war would be accomplished.

“It is our collective desire and hopefully too that there shall be Reconciliation, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of Igbolannd and connect them to the center. We can’t continue to talk about lack of federal roads and bridges in the South East.

“Things have to change and I have come to tell you as a prophet that you all shall no longer walk alone”, he said, adding that if Anambra was prepared to go to the center, then Igboland is complete.”

The APC administration, with Akpabio as chairmanship of the National Assembly established the South East Development Commission as part of the efforts to rebuild Igboland.

“We are coming from the center to add value to what you are doing. . I have nothing further to say than to say, Welcome to the center,”

APC’s National Chairman, Prof..Nentawe Yilwatda who was visibly excited with event spoke with so much vigour and excitement noted that they come to renew hope to the people of South East.
He said he had come on behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party as a messenger of hope that change is possible in Anambra state and that its only eight days remaining to uproot APGA out of the way.

“We have only 196 hours from now for APGA to end its reign; only 196 hours and APGA is gone. In 8 days, there will be no Governor in Nigeria that will bear the tag of APGA again!

“Anambra is known for her industrious business people. But these days, businesses are dying off because of insecurity and the youth are not getting any help .

” We need insecurity fixed, schools fixed and the people given hope. We are in Anambra today with the hope that in just 8 days the state will be better.

“Anambra is so important in Igbo land and Nigerial that it won’ t be left in the hands of the opposition.

” We now have 25 Governors and by Saturday, November 8, Anambra will make it 26.

“Roll up your sleeves to ensure that you stand by your votes. We are ready to defend you.

“If any body is claiming that he is an adopted son in APC, he is lying. We have only one son and he is Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, “Ikukuoma” Ndi Anambra. If you are not APC, you are not. There is no counterfeit. I urge you to use the APC broom to sweep away the ghost APGA”, he said.

Prince Ukachukwu in his brief remark called on his teeming supporters to be brave and go to the polling booths on November 8 and vote APC so as to form her next government in the state.

” When you do so, we are going to win and win again in 2027. We will fix the broken Anambra state without partnering with anybody. You should be ready to sweep them out completely.
“The fowl is dead. The umbrella is torn irretrievably and it is our duty to use our broom to sweep away their carcasses “, he stated

The Anambra state chairman of the party, Chief Basil Ejidike in his statement said that the party was on course to win the November 8, governorship election in the state because they had worked hard to deserve victory.

The party he said had gone to every nook and cranny of the state in the course of its campaign spreading the message of hope to an utterly despondent and disillusioned citizens who had been weighed down by the menace of insecurity, excessive and excruciating multiple taxation, clueless and rudderless government and extreme loss of hope in government and governance.

He noted that these anti – people policies of the APGA administration in the state made APC’s job easier, because the people saw us as the credible alternative they had yearned for over the years.

Gov Hope Uzodima of Imo State, and Chairman of the Progressives Governor’s Forum in his speech said,
“You can tell the blind that there is no oil in the soup, but you can’t tell him that the soup is not salted enough. If he cannot see the oil, at least he can test the soup”.

Acknowledging thunderous cheers from the mammoth crowd who hailed him as the star of the rising Imo that APC is a party of peace.

“APC is not a party known for violence. There will be a free and fair election. No body will stop you from going to exercise your franchise. Do not fear. Go out there and vote.

“We are here to protect democracy. “Your votes must count. APC is a large democratic party in Africa. There will be enough security to protect citizens and voters from harassment. Vote for the largest party in Africa. Do not fear”, he said.
