More individuals, groups and communities have continued to shirk off the morbid fears of the state government’s intimidation, high-handedness and victimization to now openly come out to express full backing and support for Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and Senator Uche Ekwunife as the Anambra State’s All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship/deputy Governorship candidates for the coming Nov 8,2025 election in the State.

The latest is the Agulu Community, the country home of HE Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

The impressive turnout of citizens made up of critical stakeholders, young and old, who thronged the Agulu Central School field yesterday, in a unique style spoke volumes that none want to miss the rare opportunity to welcome the man to replace Gov Soludo.

The mass rally which was described as a major organic campaign gathering in the State in recent time was like a roll call of who is who within Anaocha Council area, especially Agulu.

Agulu Community in an outstanding show of confidence, solidarity and commitment to the approaching Nov 8 governorship course of Ukachukwu, presented a cheque of a whopping sum sum of Eighty-five million naira and two Sienna sedan buses donation to the Ukachukwu/Ekwunife campaigns to assist in effort to oust Soludo.

The natives collectively endorsed Ukachukwu and Ekwunife joint ticket.

In his appreciation while receiving the donations, Ukachukwu thanked the community for their positive thoughts, kind words and huge open support and endorsement for the “Soludo must go” push.

Assisted by his running mate, Ekwunife; they jointly vowed to fix the visibly broken and battered Anambra State.

The APC flagbearer pledged support to the Community.

According to him, “Anambra is badly broken, savagely destroyed by successive All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) administration, but the worse is under the incumbent administration.

“Its now time to say with one accord, ‘Anambra is broken, we sincerely pledge to build and restore the dignity of governance, improve the quality of life for Ndi-Anambra. It’s time for our sons, daughters, well-wishers, and friends worldwide to once again take pride to visit home at will, special events and family moments.

A visibly happy and excited Ukachukwu told the above five thousand citizens at the unique rally that “Anambra State was presently in dire need of a deliverer, a visionary and compassionate leadership that would rebuild critical infrastructures, attract investments, and empower the people. He lamented over the current state of the roads, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions, that he said had deteriorated under successive APGA administrations, particularly the incumbent administration.

According to him, “Our people deserve better. We do not deserve the poor state of affairs being given to us as citizens of Anambra.

“That’s why I urge all voters in Anambra State to vote massively for the APC, myself and Senator Uche Ekwunife on the Nov 8, 2025; to enable us connect our dear State to the national political grid.

We are committed that Anambra must work again, and it shall! We cannot continue this way when our potentials as a people are enormous but untapped. My commitment, our commitment is to fix the broken system and make governance truly work for the people. Insecurity must go, we will fix electricity, Ukachukwu declared to the cheering crowd.

He also pledged special agric/farming support for Agulu, noting its strategic importance as a hub for education, tourism and commerce in the state. “Agulu has produced some of the best minds in our state. My administration will prioritize this community in our development plan, with special focus on road networks, youth empowerment, and agricultural support,” he said.

To the youths, Ukachukwu urged them to take ownership of the 2025 election, emphasizing that their active participation would determine the direction of the state’s future. “This is your time to reclaim Anambra. We can no longer sit and complain — we must act. Let us rebuild Anambra together,” he added.

The massive rally witnessed an impressive turnout of party supporters, traditional leaders, and community groups who pledged their solidarity to the APC candidate.

Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, a businessman and philanthropist, is known for his long-standing contributions to community development and advocacy for transparent good governance.

The former President-General of the community, Hon. Onyebuchi Okpala (Ike Agulu), made a personal donation of ₦5 million to the APC campaign.
