El-Kanemi Warriors FC secured a 2-1 win over Kano Pillars FC in a pulsating NPFL Matchday 7 encounter at the El-Kanemi Warriors Stadium, Maiduguri. The match kicked off at 4:00 PM with both teams fielding their star players.
The Warriors dominated the early stages, creating several scoring chances. The best opportunity fell to Mas’ud Danjuma in the 9th minute, but Kano Pillars goalkeeper Abuci made an outstanding save to deny him.

Kano Pillars equalized in the 79th minute, but El-Kanemi restored their lead just two minutes later. Daddy Abdulrahman scored his second goal of the day, striking again to send the home fans into jubilation.
