Nnamdi Azikiwe University To Host CJID’S Next Gen/Campus Reporter Project

The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) is set to host its Next Generation/Campus Reporter Project training at Nnamdi Azikiwe University

The training, designed for students who are passionate about journalism, aims to equip young media enthusiasts with the skills and knowledge needed for impactful storytelling.

The Centre is calling for applications from students in Anambra State who are passionate about journalism.

Deadline for application is August 22, 2025 . It is open to students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University and other institutions in Anambra State

Benefits of the training include, Hands-on experience with leading media organizations in Nigeria, Personalized mentorship from seasoned media professionals, Opportunities to publish quality accountability reports and Enhanced visibility and networking within the journalism community.

The Next Gen/Campus Reporter project aims to foster mentorship, encourage networking, and build confidence while equipping selected participants with the skills and experiences necessary for a successful career in journalism. This initiative provides outstanding campus journalists and Mass Communication students with a unique opportunity to intern with mainstream media organizations
