Enyimba FC Mourns Sudden Passing Of 3SC’s Akin Olowokere

Enyimba Football Club is mourning the tragic death of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) Assistant Coach, Akin Olowokere, who passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, during a preseason training session in Ijebu Ode.

Coach Olowokere, known for his passion and dedication to the sport, leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered by the Nigerian football community.

In a message signed by the club’s management, the People’s Elephant expressed deep sorrow over Olowokere’s sudden passing, mourning the loss of a colleague and friend who contributed significantly to Nigerian football. Their condolences reflect the strong bonds within the football community.

ENYIMBA FC MOURNS WITH 3SC OVER DEMISE OF COACH AKIN OLOWOKERE* 

Enyimba International Football Club expresses deep sorrow over the sudden death of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) Assistant Coach, Akin Olowokere, who tragically slumped and passed away on Monday morning, 11th August 2025, during a preseason training session in Ijebu Ode.

The shocking news has left the People’s Elephant in mourning, as the entire Nigerian football community grapples with the loss of one of the game’s most passionate and selfless servants.

Coach Olowokere was more than a tactician. “He was a mentor, a friend, and a father figure. His dedication to nurturing talent made him a rare gem in our football family.

We at Enyimba see his passing as a stark reminder that football is more than just a game — it is a bond that ties everyone together, across rivalries and regions.

When one of us falls, we all feel the pain. We stand in solidarity with the management, players, and supporters of 3SC, sharing in their grief and honouring a life that inspired so many.”

Our heart felt condolences goes to his family, friends, and loved ones, as we pray that they find strength in the enduring legacy he left behind.
