Tico/Select Semis: Enyimba FC To Face KMK FA In Aba, Kun Khalifat Takes On  Rangers In Enugu

After six days of expressive game of football in two centers Aba and Enugu, the 7th Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Pre-Season Tournament has reached its semifinal stage.

The stage is set for more thrilling matches as Enyimba FC takes on tournament’s revelation KMK FC in Aba on Saturday at 3 pm, while Kun Khalifat battles Enugu Rangers in Enugu at the same time.

This semifinal lineup follows Abia Warriors’ withdrawal from the tournament due to their participation in the NFF Super 6 for Continental teams, paving the way for KMK FC to join the semifinals. The matches promise to be intense, with the teams vying for a spot in the final.

The tournament which kicked off on August 2nd witnessed a remarkable display of talent from young players, who have impressed with their skills, determination, and passion for the game. Their outstanding performances have not gone unnoticed, as coaches from bigger clubs took notice of their abilities.

The semifinals promise to be exciting, with top teams of the tournament battling it out for a spot in the final. Will Enyimba FC or KMK FC emerge victorious in Aba? Can Kun Khalifat take down Enugu Rangers in Enugu? The answers will have to wait until Saturday.

 

Matchday 1 (August 2, 2025)

    Enyimba FC 5-2 Inter Aba FC: Enyimba FC dominated the match, scoring five goals and concerning 2

    Excellent FC 0-5 KMK FC: KMK FC thrashed Excellent FC, showcasing their impressive form.

Matchday 2 (August 3, 2025)

Inter Aba FC 0-1 KMK FC: KMK FC secured a narrow win over Inter Aba FC.

Matchday 3 (August 4, 2025)

   Heartland FC 3-0 Inter Aba FC: Heartland FC secured a convincing win.

 Excellent FC 0-2 Enyimba FC: Enyimba FC continued their winning streak against another young side

    KMK FC 0-0 Kun Khalifat: KMK FC and Kun Khalifat played out a goalless draw.

Matchday 4 (August 5, 2025)

 Inter Aba FC 0-0 Kun Khalifat: Another goalless draw.

Enyimba FC 1-1 KMK FC: A closely contested match ended in a stalemate.

   Heartland FC 0-0 Excellent FC: Both teams failed to score.

Matchday 5 (August 6, 2025)

    Excellent FC 1-0 Inter Aba FC: Excellent FC finally secured a win.

    Kun Khalifat 3-1 Enyimba FC: Kun Khalifat bounced back with a win.

    KMK FC 2-2 Heartland FC: A thrilling match ended in a draw.

Matchday 6 (August 7, 2025)

    Heartland FC 1-1 Kun Khalifat: Another draw.

    Enyimba FC 1-0 Heartland FC: Enyimba FC secured a narrow win.
