The Anambra State Football League which is expected to kickoff on Sunday, August 24th, 2025 at the Awka City Stadium will feature clubs drawn from the 21 Local Government Areas in the state who are affiliated with the ANSFA.

According to the organizers, a total of ₦3.9 million has been earmarked as prize monies with the eventual champions coasting home with the sum of ₦2million while the Runners-up, third placed and fourth placed teams will go home with the sum of ₦1million, ₦500 thousand and ₦200,000 respectively.

Iloenyosi said: “This partnership with Akubudike Energy Limited is a step forward in our commitment to grassroots football development. We’re not just building players—we’re building communities through the instrumentality of the beautiful game.

“Anambra is blessed with amazing football talents in the state most of whom are largely unknown in the grassroots and hinterlands. This is a platform to bring them to limelight and give them the opportunity to make their dreams come true by playing professional football,” Chief Iloenyosi stated.
