…Return To NPFL With Flair

In a thrilling finals at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on July 12, 2025, Wikki Tourists FC narrowly missed the top spot, losing 3-2 to Warri Wolves FC in the NNL Super 8 championship game.

Despite the loss, the Bauchi-based team achieved their primary goal: a well-deserved promotion back to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The team’s impressive performance was recognized with three individual awards including Best Goalkeeper won by Utum Godswill and Top Scorer won by Wonderson Yakubu

The players were awarded silver medals and the Runners-up Trophy in a colorful ceremony attended by supporters and dignitaries.

The Bauchi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Alhaji Adamu Babayo Gabarin, praised the team’s campaign, describing it as a proud moment for the state.

The club’s management thanked Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for his support and the Wikki Tourists Supporters Club, media, and stakeholders for their encouragement.

With their return to the NPFL, Wikki Tourists FC is poised for a new chapter, and their fans are eager to see the team thrive in the top flight.
