Warri Wolves Emerge NNL 2024/2025 Season Champions

.….Defeat Wikki Tourists 3-2

Warri Wolves FC are champions of the 2024/25 Nigeria National League (NNL) season. The seasides on Saturday, 12th July 2025 defeated Wikki Tourists by three goals to two in the grand finale played at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba Delta State.

The Wolves’ took the lead in the 7th minute through Lateef Yusuf’s brilliant finish in the early going. The scorer turned provider by assisting Evwierhurhoma Igbunu’s simple finish in the 19th minute of the encounter.

Amatesiro Shemaye made it three for the Wolves from a tight angle off a second assist from Lateef Yusuf.

Wikki Tourists reduced the deficit in the 34th minute as Mahmood Aliyu poked home Habila Simone Sulai assist to bring the game back to life. Wonderson Babas got the second for Wikki in the 59th minute to take the game to a nervy ending, however the Seasiders kept their composure and discipline to see off the contest emerging champions of the season.
