By Chikaodi Chukwuleta

The All Progressive Congress Governorship candidate in Anambra state, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu has condemned the state’s rampant environmental degradation and insecurity.

He stated this while addressing a mammoth crowd at Ogidi market and St. Mark’s Ojoto, in continuation of his Thank You Tour of the 21 local governments areas of the state,

He promised to address these issues and create a stable environment conducive to growth and development by putting an end to kidnappings and killings.

He pledged to give a cash reward of N2 million to any ward that has the highest number of registered voters.

He called on eligible voters to participate in the on- going continuous voter registration (CVR) for this year’s poll.

The APC governorship candidate further said that his administrator would probe all human rights violations by the State Anti- touting Squad (SASA) to bring justice to bear on them.

In her remarks, Ukachukwu’s running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife called on the voters to use their votes to unseat the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) led by Professor Chukwuma Soludo, adding that APC would take over power come November 8th, 2025.

Also speaking, the State Party Chairman of APC, Basil Ejidike, State Woman Leader, Mrs Maria Ojielo; Idemili North LGA Chairman,Charles Obadike; former Youth Leader of APC in the South-East Zone, Chief Olisaemeka Onyeka; Chief Vin Obi; Okelo Madukaife; Lady Agatha; Mrs Obiakor and Dan Igbokwubili pleged to mobilize support for victory of APC.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced the commencement of Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) effective on Tuesday to allow eligible voters obtain voter cards before the July 17th 2025 deadline while those who are seeking to replace lost voter cards should validate them online.
