The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Bauchi State, Hon. Adamu Babayo Gabarin, has charged Wikki Tourists FC to go all out for victory in their final and decisive game of the ongoing #NNL25 Super 8 Playoff in Asaba, Delta State.

During a visit to the team at their hotel, the Commissioner expressed dissatisfaction over the team’s performance so far and reminded the players that the hopes of Bauchi people to watch NPFL games next season rest on their shoulders.

He urged them to raise their game and fight for the much-desired NPFL promotion ticket.

Earlier, Club Chairman Engr. Auwal Gotal acknowledged that the team arrived Asaba in high spirits, but admitted that the two consecutive draws have changed the mood.

He however believes that a win in the final match will restore hope.

On behalf of the players and technical crew, Coach Abdu Maikaba apologized for the underwhelming results and assured that all hands will be on deck to secure a crucial win in the last group match.

Wikki Tourists sit 3rd in Group A with 2 points from two matches.

The team now shifts focus to the must-win final group game against Yobe Desert on Thursday 10th July 2025.
