Abakaliki FC, a second-tier Nigerian league side, has arrived in Lagos ahead of their historic 2025 President Federation Cup Final match against Kwara United on Saturday.

This marks the team’s first-ever appearance in the Cup final, and Coach Ifeanyi Onyedika is determined to make a memorable debut.

The team arrived early in Lagos to acclimatize and focus on the big match.

Abakaliki FC has had an impressive run to the final, eliminating four Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) sides, Katsina United, Nasarawa United, Enyimba, and Ikorodu City.

The stage is set for a thrilling encounter as Abakaliki FC takes on Kwara United, who are also making their first-ever appearance in the President Federation Cup Final.

Will the Rice Boys make history and lift the trophy, or will Kwara United emerge victorious? The match promises to be an exciting one.
