...To Deliver Keynote Paper At Anambra Times Roundtable

Prof. Godwin Onu, a distinguished scholar from the Department of Political Science, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has been appointed as a member of the Professorial Endowment Committee of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo. His appointment was formally confirmed over the weekend, with the letter of appointment presented by the President-General of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Distinguished Senator John Azuta-Mbata, at the organization’s headquarters in Enugu.

Professor Onu, who previously served as the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, is a respected authority in public policy and administration, ethnic studies, federalism, and international relations. His scholarly contributions and leadership experience continue to shape discourse on governance and development across Nigeria.

In further recognition of his expertise, Prof. Onu is scheduled to deliver a landmark keynote paper titled “Harnessing the Power of Interstate Collaboration to Unlock the South-East’s Full Economic Potentials” at the inaugural AT Roundtable hosted by Anambra Times. The event is set to take place on June 19 at the Hilton Leisure Resort and Hotel, Awka.

The Roundtable will be chaired by Distinguished Senator Victor Umeh, who represents Anambra Central Senatorial District and currently serves as Chairman of the Senate Committee on National Identity and Population.

With his new role in the Professorial Endowment Committee and his forthcoming lecture, Prof. Onu is poised to make significant contributions to both intellectual discourse and strategic planning for the advancement of the South-East region. His inclusion in the committee marks a vital step in harnessing academic excellence for cultural and regional development.
