The Anambra State governorship flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma) has expressed a deep heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the recent attacks by gunmen in parts of Anambra State.

A tearful message from his campaign headquarters signed by one of his aides, Dr Kingsley Ezekwelu focused particularly on the State Police Command that lost some gallant officers on active duty.

It also condoled with the Iloakasia Family and the Aguleri Community whose President General, Barrister Ifeanyi Iloakasia was assassinated by the gunmen alongside another friend who rode with him after a court session at the Aguata High Court. He prayed the Almighty God to hunt the bloodthirsty murderers, their sponsors in order to face the law.

Ukachukwu extended condolences to the Nigeria Bar Association and the Anambra State Association of Town Unions ((ASSATU) where the late Barrister Iloakasia was an active member before his unfortunate brutal murder few days ago.

He urged the Police under the leadership of CP Ikioye Orutugu to take heart, brace up and fight hard to unmask the perpetrators of the dastardly acts to face the full weight of the law.

The APC governorship candidate urged all citizens to see security of the State as a collective responsibility of all. For everyone to always do something and say something once they see or suspect something.

He prayed for the peaceful repose of the souls of all the victims.
