Awka South Chairman, Okafor To Partner NAWOJ  In Promotion Of Soludo’s Achievements

The Chairman, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Prince Chinedu Okafor, has promised to partner Nigeria Association of women journalists (NAWOJ), Anambra State Chapter in promoting Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s good works in the state.

The Chairman made the promise during a courtesy visit to his office by a team of NAWOJ members led by the Anambra State Chairperson of the association, Comrade Tochukwu lfejirka.

He described journalism as a noble profession and expressed worry over the manner some unverified publishers on facebook and other online platforms are jeopardising the job.

He assured that he and his media team will partner the association to propagate the good works of Mr Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, noting that the recent visit of the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was as a result of Mr Governor’s good works in the state.

He urged the media to disseminate the information so that the world will see that Anambra State has been transformed into a liveable and conductive environment.

In a vote of thanks, the General Manager, Kpakpando FM, Monic Okechukwu, thanked the chairman for promising to partner with NAWOJ, and commended him for his conduct and efforts in Awka South Local Government Area.
