Nnamdi Azikiwe University Set To Participate In 2025 NUSSA Games

Nnamdi Azikiwe University is set to feature in the 15th edition of the Nigerian University Staff Sports Association Games.

The NUSSA Games which is a biennial event for workers and employees of Nigeria’s public and private institutions tagged “BUK2025” will hold from Wednesday, 21st to Friday, 30th May, 2025 at the Bayero University Kano, Kano State.

The sporting programme will see the institution feature in the games after a six years hiatus where the University last featured at the event.

According to reports, the institution’s acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Ikechebelu has promised that the University’s staff-athletes will be fully represented at the sporting programme aimed at showcasing and harnessing the sporting talents domiciled in the ivory towers.

The upcoming NUSSA game will see over 50 Universities in the land converging in Kano for the historic sporting programme that will feature more than 12 events at the ten–day action packed Inter Universities universities Games.
