NEROS Pharmaceuticals /Anambra State Football Association President Cup defending champions, Solution FC, have qualified for the final of the 2025 edition of the competition.

This followed a 4-1 semi final triumph over Peace FC, yesterday at the Awka City Stadium.

Ekeocha Chibuzo emerged the undisputed hero of the feisty contest after scoring a hattrick in the game.

Chibuzo hauled all the positive headlines after handing the NNL side the lead 22 minutes after kick off. But their lead was short-lived as Patrick,Onyebuchi drew level for Peace FC before the half time whistle. Both teams went into the break on level terms.

Chibuzo restored Solution FC lead just three minutes after the break, scoring his second goal in the game.

Emeka Oyieke made it 3-1 with five minutes left on the clock before Chibuzo completed his hattrick on the night with a 90th minute goal to bring the final scoreline to 4-1.

Solution FC will now meet the winner of the second semi final match between Edel FC and Ozalla FC in the final scheduled for NEROS Stadium, Nanka, on Sunday, 23 February, 2025.

The second semi final involving Edel FC, an NNL club, and Ozalla FA, will decided on Wednesday, 19 February, 2025.

The eventual winner of the NEROS/ANSFA Cup will cart home N2m while the runners-up will receive N1m just as the third place winner will receive a consolation fee of N500, 000.
