The Anambra state Commissioner for Housing, Chief Paully Onyeka has assured that in no distant time the state Judges Quarters will be completed.
He made the promise when he paid an inspection visit to the Judges Quarters site recently.
According to him, completion of the project will make the dream of having more judges of Anambra extraction a reality as demanded by the National Judicial Council.
“Work started on the site barely one month ago and has gotten to roofing level. While parapet is ongoing on one out of the five buildings, one had been roofed while the remaining three buildings are about to be roofed”,
“The speed is in line with timeline given by the state government. The contractors have weeks to round off the buildings to allow the state have freedom of attracting more judges of Anambra state extraction”, he said.
In their separate speeches, Engineer Chidi Daniels of Times Company Limited, Ben Daniels of Global Impex Company, Architect Obinna Umeh of Tivoge Properties Limited and Patrick Iwuno of Artisan Developers Limited representatives of the construction companies pledged to work with the directive of the Commissioner so as to meet up with the Solution mandate, expressing happiness that they were engaged to serve the state in that capacity.
