In the bid to be in vantage position ahead 2024/2025 Nigeria Nationwide League One Season, NLO 1 Ogun State Football outfit, Best Talent FC has appointed Coach Yusuf Farouk as the new Head Coach .
The high flying club which narrowly missed out on the qualification ticket to the Second tier league shall be counting on the experience of the grassroot exponent gaffer to fight for a slot in the Most Important League of the Nigeria Football League strata via the NLO 1 in the coming Season
The team which is based in Ogun state, Mowe to be precised is owned by an ex-player ,in person of Mr Adeyemo Adeyinka and won a Preseason tournament in Ikenne Remo Stadium, Ogun State.
The iconic unveiling ceremony was done at the team home ground in Mowe, Ogun State . It was as the instance of the General Manager of the club ,Sikiru Ibrahim popularly known as SK.
The globetrotting General Manager, Sk described Yusuf Farouk as a result oriented tactician who will put his experience to bear to achieve club’s yearnings and aspirations for the much anticipated season.
In his words: “The experience of the new Head Coach will be counted on as he had great deal of accomplishments with various grassroots clubs and academies. He was a former Fackson FA, Shuffle Select FA, Fresh Talent FC, Margate FC with blameless records.
“Best Talent Football Club proudly unveiled its new head coach, Yusuf Farouk, in a vibrant ceremony held at the club’s home ground. Coach Farouk is Known for his tactical acumen with a knack for developing young talent.
Farouk will bring his wealth of experience and fresh energy to the team as he takes over the stage amidst cheers and applause.”
The former NLO1 handler expressed optimism that he is committed to building a winning squad that will play with passion and zeal”.
With this appointment, Best Talent Football Club signals a bold new direction filled with promise and ambition under Farouk’s leadership.
The new Head Coach will be assisted by Adegboyega Adekunle (Assistant coach), and Francis Temitope( Goal keepers’ trainer).
The Chairman of the club, Adeyemo Adeyinka added that : “The team will fight tooth and nail to get the promotion slot into second tier of Nigeria League and this is the reason why we bring on board a versatile and grassroots exponent in person of Coach Yusuf Farouk to actualize the aspirations of our club.
