The Spiritual Head of Soul Revival Outreach Nnewi, Anambra State, Prophet Ikechukwu Uzukwu has bemoaned the sudden demise of Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, describing it as “a big blow dealt by life”.
Prophet Uzukwu in an interaction with journalists at Nnewi shortly after signing the condolence register at the late Sen Ubah’s Nnewi countryhome said that the commercial town of Nnewi, Anambra South Senatorial zone, Anambra State and indeed the entire nation have lost a gem, an all-rounder.
He said that the sudden exit of Sen Ubah who provided shades of comfort and sustenance to almost everyone under his area of influence can be likened to the fall of an Iroko tree. He noted that after the fall of Iroko tree, all the birds that were taking refuge in it would scatter while the mindless wolves move in.
The Prophet said that the death of Ubah has thrown Nnewi, Nnewi South senatorial zone and indeed lovers of good into great grief.
“Ifeanyi Ubah had a lot of ongoing projects for the poor and the less privileged.
That there was hardly any family in the state that doesn’t have a gift from him. It may be handfans, jerseys, aprons, caps, motorbikes and even cars,” he pointed out.
Prophet Uzukwu however pointed out that the only person in Anambra State who behaves like Sen Ubah is Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu of Osumenyi in Nnewi South LGA of the state.
The fiery Servant of God recalled that in his 2016 message to the nation, he prophesied that Sen Ubah would one day govern Anambra State but expressed sadness that death has truncated the dream.
He commiserated with the immediate family of the deceased senator, Nnewi community, Anambra State and indeed the entire nation.
