Enyimba FC’s Sporting Director, Mr Ifeanyi Ekwueme has expressed satisfaction with the team’s activities in the recent transfer window as the team prepare for 2024/2025 season.

The former Nigerian international stated that the club has made significant strides in strengthening its squad for the upcoming season.

“I am delighted with the business we’ve done. We identified key areas that needed improvement and worked tirelessly to bring onboard top talents that fit our vision. Our fans can expect an exciting season ahead”, he said

The former  Super Eagles player revealed that the club has signed several key players, including a prolific goal-scorer, a skilled midfielder, and a solid defender. These additions, he believes, will bring depth and quality to the squad.

“We’ve not only strengthened our starting lineup but also increased competition for places, which will push our players to raise their game. Our coaching staff is excited to work with the new signings and integrate them into the team.”

Ekwueme also praised the club’s Chairman, Kanu Nwankwo, for his support and vision, saying, “Our Chairman has been instrumental in our success, providing guidance and resources to ensure we attract top talents. We’re grateful for his leadership and commitment to excellence.”

With the new signings and a strong pre-season training program, Enyimba FC is poised to challenge for top honors in the upcoming season. The Sporting Director is confident that the team have what it takes to succeed.

“We’ve built a strong foundation, and our fans can expect an exciting brand of football,” he concluded. “We’re ready to make a statement and bring glory to Enyimba FC.”
