In a bid to expand Enyimba FC’s international presence, the club chairman, Kanu Nwankwo is currently in Poland to lure Polish clubs into partnering with the Nigerian football club.

The Nigerian legend was received in Poland by the Ekwueme brothers, younger siblings of Enyimba Sporting Director who are oiling the wheels of the partnership drive with top Polish clubs

Kanu Nwankwo held productive meetings with several Polish clubs, showcasing Enyimba FC’s achievements, infrastructure, and growth plans.

The meetings were reportedly well-received, with Polish clubs including  Legia Warsaw expressing interest in partnering with Enyimba FC.

The Legia Warsaw Sporting Director, Radek Mozyrko expressed optimism about the possible partnership which he believes will have positive developmental effects.

As a result of the visit, Enyimba FC is now in advanced talks with Polish clubs, with discussions focusing on partnership opportunities, including player exchange programs and training camps.

This development is seen as a significant step towards expanding Enyimba FC’s international footprint, with Kanu Nwankwo’s reputation and expertise playing a key role in driving the club’s growth.

The development will also add oil to the wheels of other efforts by the Kanu led management to raise the bar of the club’s visibility which began with many youth oriented programs.

“Kanu Nwankwo’s visit to Poland has opened doors for Enyimba FC to establish meaningful partnerships with Polish clubs,” said a source close to the club. “We are excited about the prospects of working together and exploring opportunities for growth.

The partnership talks are ongoing, with Enyimba FC set to announce further details in coming weeks.

Since he stepped into Enyimba FC as Chairman, the FIFA Ambassador has intensified efforts to encourage youth development in the club through programs especially high profile tournaments.
