Anambra Executive Council Approves Contracts For Judges Quarters, High Court Building, Etc

Anambra State Executive Council has approved the contracts for the building of Judges Quarters, High Court Building and Works Road.in the state.

The information is contained in the statement signed by the state commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu and made available to the media on Monday 15th July, 2024.

The statement read:

ANSEC AWARD CONTRACTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF JUDGES’ QUARTERS, HIGH COURT BUILDING COMPLEX AND WORKS ROAD

In a bid to ensure access to justice is expanded to all deserving Ndi Anambra, bridging the infrastructural deficits and ensure decent courtrooms, the 21st Anambra State Executive Council (ANSIEC) has approved the award of a contract for the construction of the Six-Hall High Court Building Complex in Awka to Hemebs Construction Nig. Ltd at the cost One Billion, One Hundred and Forty-One Million, Nine Hundred and Thirty-five Thousand, Three Hundred and Thirty-One Naira, Eighty-Eight Kobo ( N1, 141, 935, 331. 88). The contract will be completed in four months from the date of mobilization.

ANSEC also approved the release of the sum of Five Hundred and Eighty-Four Million Naira for the construction of the Four (4) Prototype Judges’ Quarters at the unit cost of N146,000,000/LOT. The contract was awarded to Lot 1: Artisan Developers Ltd; Lot 2: Times Construction Company Ltd; Lot 3: Tivoge Properties Ltd and Lot 4: Ben Daniels Global Impex Ltd.

The contract will be completed in four months from the date of the payment of mobilization to the site.

The sum of Three Hundred and Thirty-five Million, Seven Hundred and Ninty Million, Eight Hundred and Fifteen Naira, Eighty-Six Kobo (N335,790,815.86) for the Supply and Installation of 32 Numbers 5K VA Inverter with 7.5 KW Lithium Batteries at Anambra State Judges Residence. The contract was awarded to El-Bukelz Nig. Ltd and will be completed in three months from the date of mobilization.

After a competitive bidding for the Re-construction of the dilapidated 834m Works Road by Government Technical College and the entrance approach to the Ministry of Works, the contract was awarded to Strazbourg Investment Nig. Ltd at the sum of the Two Hundred and Thirty Million, Seven Hundred and Eighty-Four Thousand, Seven Hundred and Sixy Two Naira, Fifty Kobo (N230, 785,762.50).
