Peace FC of Awka will on Saturday, 20th July 2024 officially launch and unveil their new sets of Jerseys for the 2024/2025 football season.
This disclosure was made by the Chairman of the Club, Ifunanya Nwangwu during an interview with sports writers at the Awka City Stadium on Sunday, 14th July 2024 on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the 2024 Babatem All Stars Football Competition.
Nwangwu informed that the launching and unveiling ceremony of the new sets of jersey will herald their first match in Group B against Puma All Stars Army Barracks FC Onitsha at the ongoing Babatem All Stars Football Competition.
The football administrator informed that Peace FC is turning into a full global brand with Under 17 team, Junior team currently playing in the NLO and All Stars Team. He averred that the club wants to showcase their new outfit like every other club around the globe while calling for support from all football stakeholders in the state during the launching and unveiling program.
Nwangwu said: “Come Saturday, we will make history with the official launching and unveiling of our new sets of Jerseys when we play our first match at the Awka City Stadium next Saturday at the ongoing 2024 Babatem All Stars Football Competition.
“Peace FC is turning to a full brand as we have the Under-17 team, Junior team playing in the NLO and All Stars team. We call on all football stakeholders to be at the Awka City Stadium on Saturday to support us during the launching and unveiling of our football jerseys,” He said.
The launching of the new kits will be the first time an NLO clubside will officially launch and unveil football jerseys. The new Peace FC Jersey has a shirt sponsor named NOLUN CHATTELS LTD and comes in White and Royal Blue top as well as Navy Blue short designs.
