The stage is set for the most thrilling Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Super 4 tournament yet, promises Mahmud Hadija, coordinator of the NBSL.

Speaking during a media briefing at the Assad Pyramid Conference Hall in Kaduna, Hadija expressed his gratitude to the Kaduna state government and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for their unwavering support.

“The 2024 Super 4 will be the best ever, and we owe it to the unrelenting support of our partners,” Hadija declared. “The players are ready, the teams are prepared, and the fans are eager. We promise an unforgettable experience.”

The Super 4 tournament, scheduled to kick off with the “Kebbi derby” between Kebbi United BSC and Kebbi BSC, will feature the crème de la crème of beach soccer talent in Nigeria. The host team will face off against Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors in the evening fixture, setting the tone for a thrilling competition.

Hadija also revealed that the Super 4 will serve as a platform for selecting the new Sand Eagles team, Nigeria’s national beach soccer team. “The best players will be selected to form the new Sand Eagles, and we believe this tournament will be a showcase of the best beach soccer Nigeria has to offer.”

The NFF, led by Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, has adopted the NBSL, starting with this Super 4 tournament, a move that has been hailed as a significant boost to beach soccer development in Nigeria.

As the teams gear up for battle, fans are eagerly anticipating the excitement that the Super 4 promises.
One thing is certain, the 2024 NBSL Super 4 is set to be an unforgettable experience, and Mahmud Hadija has assured Nigerians that it will be the best ever.
