A friendly match between former Enyimba and Super Eagles players and the national body of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) will take place on Thursday, July 4th, at 1 pm at the Aba stadium, ahead of the Nwankwo Kanu Under 19 scouting tournament final.

Enyimba International Football Club management, led by Ambassador Nwankwo Kanu, has shown appreciation to the media body, recognizing the crucial role of the media in the league’s success.

Ambassador Kanu emphasized the importance of encouraging the media, acknowledging the hazards of their job. He encouraged them to continue highlighting areas for improvement.

Sporting Director Ifeanyi Ekwueme promised an exciting novelty match between National SWAN and Enyimba legends/retired Super Eagles players.

The event will feature notable retired Super Eagles players, including Victor Ikpeba, Samson Siasia, Austin Eguavoen, Obinna Nwaneri, Uche Okechukwu, and others.

The SWAN Football team, led by Andy Randa will have Ogo Clarkson, Adams Jessy, Milky, and other top players.
