In an obvious attempt to sell the impression that Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo prioritizes material structures over the education of Anambra children, Sahara Reporters recently published a grossly inaccurate story that revealed a latent professional quackery.
Let’s be clear; inaccurate reporting in journalism is a cardinal sin especially when it comes from a supposed renowned media organisation such as Sahara Reporters.
Their recent report in the social media that Anambra State Government allocated N68.506million to makeover the State’s Liaison Offices in Abuja and Lagos while it budgeted a smaller sum of N46.2million for maintaining 264 secondary schools across the state is utterly false, unprofessional and mischievous.
No self-respecting media organisation will descend so low to publish a news like that when the figures could have been easily accessed, verified and confirmed. What a shame!
Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, is a quintessential product of sound education and has from inception made education and indeed human capital development a top priority of his administration. The 2024 budget on education loudly testifies to that. See relevant excerpts below.
