Four players, Anas Yusuf, Abba Usman, Salau Yusuf and Uchenna Njoku scooped the Prostar Man Of The Match awards of the MatchDay 2 of the ongoing NNL 2024 Super 8 holding at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.

The four players from Nasarawa United, Inter Lagos FC, Ikorodu City and Elkanemi Warriors respectively have account of themselves in the matches that earned their teams good and hopeful results.

Four matches were played yesterday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium beginning from 8am to 4pm.

Nasarawa United consolidated their dream to return to the elite league with a 2-1 win over Sokoto United while Madiba FC launched themselves back to contention by utilizing their only two chances in their encounter against Inter Lagos who were wasteful and could not defend their earlier lead leaving the margin at 2-1.

Beyond Limits a late equalizer against Ikorodu City in a match that ended 1-1 while Elkanemi Warriors rekindled the fire of their interest to return to NPFL with a 2-1 win over Sporting Supreme

Four matches will be played tomorrow. Sporting Supreme will seek to reduce Nasarawa United invisibility in the tournament while Sokoto United will seek redemption against Elkanemi Warriors.

Ikorodu City and Inter Lagos FC will square up against Madiba FC and Beyond Limits FC respectively.

The four matches will be played simultaneously in the morning 10am and evening 4pm at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium and Enugu Temporary Stadium respectively.
