The Central Organizing Committee of the Nigeria cultural festival and business summit, (NICFEB) schedule to hold at the Teatro Rossini, Central Rome, Italy this weekend says all is fully set to have a successful event.
Chairman of the committee, Ambassador Augustine Chigbolu who spoke to our correspondent before he left for Italy on Tuesday says preparations for the event has been in top gear as every Ts have been crossed and every I had been doted to ensure that the event turns out as they expect.
On what is expected at the three day event, Ambassador Chigbolu assured that dignitaries, guest and everybody present will be treated to a real blend of Africa and European culture displays. While also noting that there will be rich display of both the African and European cuisine to highlight the importance of the event which is primarily bringing together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and professional from Europe and Africa for a unique convergence on business and culture.
Ambassador Chigbolu who is also the Managing Director of Giant Gee Nigeria revealed that the Deputy Speaker of the Federal Republic, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu is expected to be one of the personalities to deliver a paper on the day. Other personalities that would deliver paper on the day include; On. Maurizio Casasco, Avv. Raffaella Bonsanegue, Senator Tony Iwobi and Ambassador Augustine Chigbolu himself.
You may want to recall that the event is been put together by National Union of Nigerians in Italy, (NUNIA), Nigeria- Italy Chambers and Commerce, Giant Gee Nigeria Limited, with the support of Nigeria embassy in Rome and Senator Tony Iwobi.
Speaking further on the event, the chairman said, “my brother, it has not been easy but we thank God for how far we have gone in the preparation for this event. We have made huge success and we are expecting a very successful event. It has been a day and night brainstorming and preparing, because in this kind of event you have to make sure that nothing is left undone, and we are happy that we are finally here,
Like I said before when you spoke with me on this event, and I still maintain that it is going to be a very big opportunity for our Nigerian Business men and women. They will have the opportunity to meet and interact with their colleagues from across Europe and other part of the world,” he said.
Participants would benefit in diverse ways such as; Strategic exposure such that the platform will provide them the opportunity to showcase their brands to diverse audience and gain visibility among key decision makers. Other gains from the program according to the committee chairman is the Networking opportunities which he said will afford participants the chance to engage with potential clients, partners and industry leaders during syndicated networking session,” he concluded.
