The football brand name, Enyimba FC of Aba, have continued to soar high since after the coming of Kanu ‘Papilo’ Nwankwo “FIFA Ambassador” as the club Chairman.
The team without mincing words has grown in many dimensions including the teams effort and spirited performance towards retaining their trophy and achieve “La Decimal”, which can easily be attributed to the managerial dexterity of the chairman simply known by many as, “King Kanu Effects”.
Among many innovations already recorded by the Management team of the 9 times league champions piloted under the able leadership of the former Arsenal Legend includes taking the brand name of the club to the world map including the nation’s NPFL league and our dear state, Abia.
This was greatly manifested further following the scenes and pictures of Nigerian-New Zealand born Mixed-Martial Art Fighter and world champion Israel Adesanya representing the NPFL pride as he was captured donning Enyimba’s second away jersey.
The patriotic action of the Mixed-Martial Art world champion who is always seen seizing every opportunity to rep Nigeria and it’s culture during his fights signifies the important significance of the innovative ideas Kanu Nwankwo and his Management team has brought on board to take the People’s Elephant’ to world map.
The rave of the moment created by Adesanya which has since gone viral is simply captured by the digital Chairman in his response when cornered by Enyimba media on the development;
“I thank God and am proud of the work we are doing in Enyimba especially putting the NPFL on map of the World as well as our dear Abia State ‘(God’s own State) with the support of His Excellency, Dr Alex Chioma Otti.
“The league, NPFL is very happy with it. The brand is on the world map and I wish more to come. That’s what King Kanu Papilo is bringing which is all positive”.
Many have praised the development and it is the desire of many as Enyimba Boss buttressed that many of such development will come the way of the Nigerian league to the glory of God.
