Bayern Youth Cup 2024: Edo, Anambra, Abuja, Rangers Battle For Title

The 2024 Bayern Youth Cup tournament will climax tomorrow with Abuja, Rangers, Anambra, and Edo battling for the title.

The tournament which began on Thursday 25th April, 2024 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu have ten teams divided into two groups in attendance.

Rangers,  Edo, Jos, Ablaze, Azan are in group A while Lagos, Anambra, Enugu, Abuja and Kano are in group B.

The first semi finals will be between Edo and Anambra while Abuja will try Rangers for size in the second semi finals.

To get to this stage in group A, Rangers defeated Azan, Ablaze and Jos with one goal each and lost to Edo with the same margin. Edo defeated Rangers, Azan, Blaze 1-0, 2-0 and 4-1 respectively and lost 0-1 to Jos.

In group B, Abuja moved to the semis courtesy of their victory against Enugu and Lagos with draws against Anambra and Kano. Same with Anambra that defeated Lagos and Kano but drew against Abuja and Enugu.

Lagos are the defending champions.
