Gombe State Athletics Team Arrive Jos For Cardet Championships

No fewer than 23 strong Gombe State Athletics contingent made up of Six Officials and 17 Athletes have arrive Jos, plateau State ahead of a grassroots AthIetics

Championships billed to begin today at the Ram Pam stadium.

Head of delegation and director of Hon. Ahmed Shuaibu Gara Gombe AthIetics Academy Simon Ayuba said the AthIetics contingent have settled down to start the much advertised 3-day competition

“We have been Accommodated in a Hotel by the CEO Hon Ahmed Shuaibu Gara Gombe,athIetes bips, numbers have been shared among the athletes ready for the competition” said Ayuba

The Academy director insisted that the AthIetes are ready to compete as some of them have witnessed top AthIetics action when they participated at Asaba Youth Games with glowing performance for Gombe State.

Ayuba commended Hon. Ahmed Shuaibu Gombe the founder of the Academy for being the Pilar of support since the inception of the group.

“Our team was well accommodated in a hotel different from others and we are feeding well, all to the credit of our sponsor Hon. Gombe” he said
