Sunshine Stars Striker, Lucky Calls For Patience, Assures Club Will Come Back Stronger

Sunshine stars striker Lucky Chinecherem Nwafor has advised the teeming supporter and fans of the club not to use their first stanza position at NPFL to judge them.

Lucky further advised them not to entertain any fear, as the Sunshine stars would finish the league in a variable position at the end of the season.

The 19 years old Enugu State born former EFCC of Abuja player said “it is agreed that Sunshine stars finished the first stanza on the 13th position with 22 points. We as players of the club are very determined to change the narratives , and this will come in play in the second stanza of the league. There is nothing to worry about. Sunshine stars will be among the contenders at the end of the day” he said.

Born and bred in Nasarawa state but hails from Enugu state, Lucky Nwafor joined the Owena team from EFCC of abuja at the beginning of the 2023/2024 NPFL and now playing for sunshine stars of akure. He has scored 8 goals in 7 matches.
